Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Astor Rey made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Astor Rey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Urdaspal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Atilano Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Don Jeronimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Errapel to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Esperanza defense, Justo Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Francesco. The Esperanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Francesco should have stopped the shot. Octavio Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Fidensio in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Astor Rey notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Don Jeronimo's Robustiano Urdaspal. Robustiano Urdaspal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Rey in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Urdaspal saved Don Jeronimo from getting behind. Justo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Fidensio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Don Jeronimo's goalkeeper Robustiano Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Astor Rey struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Robustiano Urdaspal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperanza. Astor Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Robustiano Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Esperanza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
