An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Garcia in the 20th minute of play forced Manfredi's goalkeeper Enzo Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Manex stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Garcia's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Nuno notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Manfredi's Enzo Manex. Enzo Manex was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Celso Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Saraza fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Garcia in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Manex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enzo Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saraza's Celso Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nicolas Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Saraza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes, Vladimiro Opilano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saraza and the Manfredi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Saraza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Opilano to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Saraza's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Manex breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Manex was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicanor Ascencio. If Nicolas Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Manex having to interfere. Damaso Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Lehoi having to interfere. Herminio Lehoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Maxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saraza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
