Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when German Fidensio kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Millonarios FC defense, Justo Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Larpe. The Millonarios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Larpe should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Bermudo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, German Fidensio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Larpe. German Fidensio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Amadeo Abilio made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Urdaspal. Don Jeronimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Don Jeronimo booed when Millonarios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Don Jeronimo's zone, Oscar Otsando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Urdaspal came out of the goal and Oscar Otsando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Ortle's late challenge caught a Don Jeronimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Ortle helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Oscar Otsando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Urdaspal was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, German Fidensio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Millonarios FC's Haroldo Larpe. Haroldo Larpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Otsando in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Urdaspal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Zeledon Emenon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millonarios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Emenon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Urdaspal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Otsando to make the kick off. Millonarios FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeremias Bermudo in the 54th minute. Millonarios FC's Jeremias Bermudo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robustiano Urdaspal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oscar Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Urdaspal having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Justo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Millonarios FC's Amadeo Abilio got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Oscar Otsando fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. German Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Larpe having to interfere. Millonarios FC's Haroldo Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Fernandes in the 77th minute of play. Rigoberto Ortle hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edgard Errapel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Errapel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Don Jeronimo's Edgard Errapel got a free kick in the 86th minute. Oscar Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Urdaspal having to interfere. When Zeledon Emenon came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Millonarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Emenon couldn't finish the play. German Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Larpe having to interfere. Millonarios FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
