Matias Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, VOLVI POR LA CUARENTENA's goalkeeper Cayetano Kinsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Nicholas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Ekain in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Gilabert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lorencio in the 44th minute of play forced VOLVI POR LA CUARENTENA's goalkeeper Cayetano Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Blasi's late challenge caught a Manantiales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Blasi helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Haritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VOLVI POR LA CUARENTENA booed when Manantiales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manantiales FC's Matias Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Nerio in the 86th minute of play.
