Victoriano Guipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Pies Ligeros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Silverio Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romeo Sazon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Amancio Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Sazon having to interfere. If Prospero Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Jeremias Pacho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZORZAL's Romeo Sazon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmar Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Ezkerra in the 30th minute of the match. Hilario Constancio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Delmar Hermon came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ZORZAL's Fidel Piearres. But to his dismay, Fidel Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jeremias Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Ezkerra in the 41st minute of play forced Pies Ligeros's goalkeeper Delmar Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Sazon having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Pacho to strike the kick off in the second half. Delmar Hermon was a little too slow when Fidel Piearres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Prospero Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Pascual Padro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZORZAL and the Pies Ligeros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascual Padro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Pies Ligeros's Delmar Hermon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Pies Ligeros from getting a goal against them. Prospero Ezkerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Hermon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Jeremias Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Romeo Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Pies Ligeros booed when ZORZAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pies Ligeros's Delmar Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Piearres in the 91st minute of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Prospero Ezkerra from a close distance when the talented Delmar Hermon managed to make a qualified save. Pies Ligeros's players were relieved.
