After 5 minutes, Clemente Calvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santiagueños F.C and the Dolores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Dolores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Arias to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Liberto in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Santiagueños F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Montae came out of the goal and Maximino Liberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Maximino Liberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Montae was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Maximino Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Montae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jorge Arias came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Dolores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Arias couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Maximino Liberto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Santiagueños F.C's Gaspar Montae. Gaspar Montae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Liberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvio Jerardo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Dolores FC defense, Octavio Monte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Lordi. The Dolores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Lordi should have stopped the shot. Freddy Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Monte in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Dolores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Seber to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Siro Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Lordi was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Maximino Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Montae having to interfere. When Jorge Arias came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Dolores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Arias couldn't finish the play. Octavio Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Freddy Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Monte succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 88th match minute, Santiagueños F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Liberto in the 91st minute of the match. Siro Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
