Iker Beat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Gilabert. Manantiales FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Manantiales FC defense, Prospero Ezkerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Gilabert. The Manantiales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Gilabert should have stopped the shot. Manantiales FC's Gonzalo Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Piearres to make the kick off. With a little luck, Manantiales FC's Matias Gilabert got control of the ball when Prospero Ezkerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cirilo Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Sazon having to interfere. Fidel Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Gilabert having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Manantiales FC's Gonzalo Nicholas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Sazon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romeo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Haritz in the 94th minute of play. The Manantiales FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ZORZAL's performance. The match ended with a win for ZORZAL.
