When Dalmacio Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuchiras's protests and gave Dalmacio Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Chuchiras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quebrachos:s goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuchiras's goalkeeper Nicanor Urbes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chuchiras's Nicanor Urbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Maurino in the 15th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Roberto Fliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuchiras and the Quebrachos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicanor Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Argina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Matthew having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Dabi got free with Dante Matthew in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quebrachos's Amadeo Mancio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Chuchiras got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Eate. 47 minutes into the match, Amadeo Mancio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chuchiras's Nicanor Urbes. Nicanor Urbes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Argina to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chuchiras's zone, Tomás Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Urbes came out of the goal and Tomás Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nicanor Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuchiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Amadeo Mancio scored to the left of an out of position Nicanor Urbes, making the score, 0-3. If Tomás Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Casimiro Argina sped through Quebrachos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Matthew. In the 75th minute, Roberto Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ceferino Claris in the 75th minute really tested Nicanor Urbes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nicanor Urbes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Amadeo Mancio sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Chuchiras defense, Amadeo Mancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Urbes. The Chuchiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Urbes should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Amadeo Mancio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Urbes having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, one of Chuchiras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicanor Urbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Maurino in the 91st minute of the match. When Saturnino Gil fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachos's protests and gave Saturnino Gil a yellow card for diving instead. Saturnino Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tomás Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Urbes having to interfere. When the match was over Quebrachos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chuchiras throughout the match.
