Spectators: 7183 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cecilio Euloxu made the kick off which started today's match. Cornelio Txurio charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Txurio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Cornelio Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Musko took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Criston. Ciriaco Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Armando Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Euloxu got free with Armando Dayam in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Euloxu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Armando Dayam skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Venerando in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Criston saved Les Avengeres from getting behind. Miguel Musko scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Criston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Ferran's late challenge caught a Niupi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Ferran helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dario Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Cleto Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Avengeres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Elias Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi FC's zone, Dario Crescencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Dayam came out of the goal and Dario Crescencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Criston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Abella went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Musko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dario Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Avengeres's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Crescencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Les Avengeres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. If Dario Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cecilio Euloxu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Les Avengeres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Euloxu couldn't finish the play. Les Avengeres's Marcos Ferran got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Marcos Ferran off the ground. In the 66th minute, Marcos Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Oton in the 68th minute of play. Ciriaco Criston was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodoveo Oton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Elias Abella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciriaco Criston firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ciriaco Criston made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Julio Venerando sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Cleto Cuarto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Dayam. Niupi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Cuarto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 87 played minutes Les Avengeres got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Cuarto. Armando Dayam came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Avengeres's Cecilio Euloxu. But to his dismay, Cecilio Euloxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. If Jeronimo Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Les Avengeres's Cleto Cuarto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Dayam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The Niupi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Niupi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
