Miguel Musko started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Benicio Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapala AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Gorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute Miguel Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Musko came free, but Esteban Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zapala AFC's Benicio Gorri got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niupi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herminio Ermano in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Herminio Ermano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteban Polo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Musko came free, but Esteban Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Gorri in the 40th minute of play forced Niupi FC's goalkeeper Armando Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Niupi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Onofre to maneuver through the defense. Julian Bibiano took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Dayam. Armando Dayam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

The wind increased when Domingo Dino made the kick off in the second half. If Julian Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benicio Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Esteban Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Elias Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Polo had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Herminio Ermano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Armando Dayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Dino in the 73rd minute of play. Cornelio Txurio's late challenge caught a Zapala AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Txurio helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Anselmo Berasko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Zapala AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Niupi FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Esteban Polo, was totally fooled by Niupi FC's Herminio Ermano, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 92 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Polo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Venerando. A collision led to Zapala AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hector Hustaz hit a great ball. Julio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Musko in the 99th minute of play forced Zapala AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Venerando in the 100th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Zapala AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
