Erasmo Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nicanor Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Suarez in the 17th minute of play forced Apuyaco's goalkeeper Camilo Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apuyaco's Marco Dunixi pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 minutes, Roberto Fliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuchiras and the Apuyaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fabian Osmundo hit a great ball. Apuyaco's Camilo Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Argina in the 33rd minute of play. Camilo Abar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Argina went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute of the match Luciano Suarez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Abar skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco's Cristian Koldobika got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Chuchiras's Nicanor Urbes got control of the ball when Erasmo Etxahun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Argina to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Camilo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Argina in the 64th minute of play. Cristian Koldobika kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco's Cosme Nahia got a free kick in the 80th minute. Casimiro Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Camilo Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Casimiro Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Apuyaco's goalkeeper Camilo Abar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Chuchiras's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Etxahun came free, but Nicanor Urbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Dabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Chuchiras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chuchiras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
