Jaime Bieito hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebrachos's goalkeeper Dante Matthew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Sanduru struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dante Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracan de Saladillo. In the 20th match minute, Huracan de Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Bieito to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Ceferino Claris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Foro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Quebrachos's goalkeeper Dante Matthew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Gutxi. If Honorio Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Gutxi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Matthew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Paulo Foro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Maurino went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leopoldo Hibai hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quebrachos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Gaskon was slow to take the kick. During this time Huracan de Saladillo's players had a chance to rest. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Maurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Sanduru in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Matthew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Matthew having to interfere. The supporters of Quebrachos booed when Huracan de Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Niel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ceferino Claris sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huracan de Saladillo's Paulo Foro didn't even have to move. Amadeo Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Maurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Mancio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Paulo Foro made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Narciso Sanduru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Matthew was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Filomeno Mendebal fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huracan de Saladillo's protests and gave Filomeno Mendebal a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Mendebal hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ceferino Claris from long distance, 99 minutes into the match, got Paulo Foro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
