Domingo Dino took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Criston. Ciriaco Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cleto Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Les Avengeres's Cecilio Euloxu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Crescencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Esteban Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Cleto Cuarto from a close distance when the talented Esteban Polo managed to make a qualified save. Zapala AFC's players were relieved. Les Avengeres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cecilio Euloxu in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cecilio Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Avengeres's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Euloxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Domingo Dino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Criston was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Cuarto came free, but Esteban Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Polo having to interfere. In the 71st minute, the referee gave Zapala AFC a penalty. Anselmo Berasko looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Ciriaco Criston. 76 minutes into the game, Dario Crescencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Avengeres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapala AFC the free kick. The supporters of Zapala AFC booed when Les Avengeres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Avengeres's Jacinto Ostargi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Flores, made in the 81st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Zapala AFC's Hector Hustaz got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Jonatan Montrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Les Avengeres getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jonatan Montrel hit a great ball. Ciriaco Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Gorri in the 96th minute of the match. Ciriaco Criston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zapala AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zapala AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
