Ciriaco Criston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Etxahun in the 11th minute of the match. Hilario Galeno's late challenge caught a Les Avengeres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Galeno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, one of Apuyaco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apuyaco. In the 24th minute, Dario Crescencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dario Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Euloxu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Abar. Camilo Abar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cecilio Euloxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute Cosme Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Nahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dario Crescencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Abar. Apuyaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Crescencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Cosme Nahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apuyaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Nahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Criston made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Erasmo Etxahun sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Les Avengeres's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Nahia came free, but Ciriaco Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Cosme Nahia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciriaco Criston. The goal made the score 3-1. Thanks to some nice moves Erasmo Etxahun could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Ciriaco Criston however easily saved by the left post. In the 74th minute, Apuyaco's Marco Dunixi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciriaco Criston. Ciriaco Criston yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Dario Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cecilio Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Avengeres's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Euloxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Abar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Crescencio in the 83rd minute of play. Marco Dunixi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciriaco Criston firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Cleto Cuarto came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Les Avengeres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Cuarto couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, Apuyaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. When Dario Crescencio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Les Avengeres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Crescencio couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Les Avengeres got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Cuarto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Etxahun got free with Ciriaco Criston in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 98 played minutes Cosme Nahia rounded Les Avengeres's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
