Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis Iyan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Aráoz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Guter to maneuver through the defense. Angel Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Iyan in the 8th minute of play. Emiliano Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aráoz's Benedicto Guter in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Varones F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Justino Prejun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Emiliano Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Txaran in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Frascuelo got free with Cesar Iratxo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Guter went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Guter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Abel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Emiliano Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aráoz. Julio Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Pelayo having to interfere. Los Varones F.C.'s Emiliano Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Los Varones F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes of play, Aráoz's Benedicto Guter made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Pelayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Marcos Frascuelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cesar Iratxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Iyan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Luis Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Julio Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aráoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Julio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Los Varones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Abel came free, but Emiliano Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Varones F.C.'s Emiliano Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Guter in the 95th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Txaran during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aráoz's Julio Txaran got a free kick in the 96th minute. Aráoz played a much better game than Los Varones F.C. and deserved their victory. The Los Varones F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
