The supporters of F.C Barbarians booed when Club Atletico Luz Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Flores in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guido Urritz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the game, Carlos Aguiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guido Urritz. Carlos Aguiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Eduardo Flores was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. F.C Barbarians's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Eduardo Flores put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Urritz. F.C Barbarians's Carlos Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Urritz having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Club Atletico Luz Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Alan Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Urritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Ekain in the 33rd minute of play. Eduardo Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Guido Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Urritz was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Carlos Aguiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Aguiar really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Ekain in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atletico Luz Azul's goalkeeper Guido Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Aguiar made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Guido Urritz. Club Atletico Luz Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 56thth minute of the game Carlos Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Luz Azul's Guido Urritz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Eduardo Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Urritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The audience was convinced that Carlos Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Urritz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Siro Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Barbarians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Enzo Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Flores took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Urritz. Guido Urritz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 81st minute, Carlos Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Aresti in the 84th minute of play forced F.C Barbarians's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Urritz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Ekain went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. If Eduardo Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
