An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Duardo in the 5th minute of play forced Pachango's goalkeeper Gilberto Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Boniel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Cibran might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Peru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Cibran ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnoldo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Domingos Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sharks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Ladio couldn't finish the play. If Domingos Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th match minute, Pachango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Erramu to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pachango's zone, Amador Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Peru came out of the goal and Amador Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Ladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Gilberto Peru made a huge save. After 42 played minutes Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Cordarin. After a rather tough play, Sharks's Simon Illart got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arnoldo Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Federigo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sharks getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gregorio Ariando hit a great ball. Arnoldo Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Cuarto in the 60th minute of the match. Nicasio Frisco charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Frisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sharks getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nicasio Frisco hit a great ball. Arnoldo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Federigo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Peru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pachango getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Horacio Christobal hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sharks's Aristides Cibran tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pachango's Gilberto Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Ladio in the 82nd minute of play. Gilberto Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Federigo in the 86th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Pachango's Arnoldo Izotz threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Cuarto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
