The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Carlos Aguiar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Internazionale Milano's Tobias Maurino. Tobias Maurino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorio Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tobias Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Aguiar in the 10th minute of play. Carlos Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tobias Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When F.C Barbarians's Gonzalo Ekain in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tobias Maurino came out of the goal and Eduardo Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The F.C Barbarians fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when F.C Barbarians's Eduardo Flores looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Internazionale Milano's Gregorio Quinito got a free kick in the 24th minute. Eduardo Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tobias Maurino made a huge save. Tobias Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Aguiar in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Carlos Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Barbarians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Internazionale Milano booed when F.C Barbarians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Maurino made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eduardo Flores sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Maurino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mario Iruinea. Tobias Maurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Aguiar in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

If Carlos Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, F.C Barbarians's Eduardo Flores nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Maurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 56th match minute, Internazionale Milano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Internazionale Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Flores came free, but Tobias Maurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Honorio Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internazionale Milano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Barbarians the free kick. A collision led to Internazionale Milano getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Honorio Iban hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Carlos Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Maurino. Internazionale Milano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 77 minutes into the match, Internazionale Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Aguiar came free, but Tobias Maurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Maurino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Maurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Maurino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Flores in the 93rd minute of play forced Internazionale Milano's goalkeeper Tobias Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internazionale Milano's Tobias Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 95th minute of play. Gonzalo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Maurino having to interfere. There was no doubt that F.C Barbarians were the better team. F.C Barbarians's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
