Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) La Cicloneta's Zacarias Matteo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Hilario Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Aresti came free, but Filiberto Tome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Francisco Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Tome having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, La Cicloneta's Zacarias Matteo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Urritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atletico Luz Azul's Guido Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Matteo in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Luz Azul's zone, Zacarias Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Urritz came out of the goal and Zacarias Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Matxin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Urritz having to make a save. After 33 played minutes Club Atletico Luz Azul got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Soter. Felix Llin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guido Urritz. Club Atletico Luz Azul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidoro Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Tome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Aresti, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Jacinto Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Hilario Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Tome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes in the game, Hilario Aresti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filiberto Tome having to interfere.

Filiberto Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Aresti in the 58th minute of play. If Modesto Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Modesto Canor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Tome was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 77th minute of the match Isaac Constancio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Urritz skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Zacarias Matteo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guido Urritz. Zacarias Matteo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Francisco Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Urritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Matteo in the 86th minute of the match. Modesto Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Filiberto Tome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club Atletico Luz Azul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Cicloneta's performance. The match ended with a win for La Cicloneta.
