Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Volcán's Qiu Yan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qiu Yan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Toli saved Palavicini from getting behind. With splendid footwork Qiu Yan arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 6th minute. Marek Wawak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Marek Wawak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Volcán's Arnaldo Oso to fire away a dangerous shot which Gervasio Toli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Ielciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qiu Yan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Gervasio Toli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
