Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amado Lon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simon Katia came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by C A Talleres CBA's Ernesto Bikendi. But to his dismay, Ernesto Bikendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Lon in the 8th minute of play forced C A Talleres CBA's goalkeeper Jimeno Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Lon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Lesardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Amado Lon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jimeno Lesardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Lon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, C A Talleres CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Lon came free, but Jimeno Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club A. Independiente defense, Ernesto Bikendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Katia. The Club A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Katia should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Laurentzi during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club A. Independiente! If Ernesto Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Manuel Guillelmus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Katia was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Cristo Sagrario struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jimeno Lesardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. Independiente. Jimeno Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Lon in the 46th minute of the match. Simon Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Mitxaut in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Guillelmus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mariano Rik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C A Talleres CBA the free kick. In the 54th minute, Mariano Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Mitxaut's late challenge caught a Club A. Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Mitxaut helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Guillelmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Katia having to interfere. After 61 played minutes C A Talleres CBA got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Lano. Ernesto Bikendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club A. Independiente's Amado Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Bikendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Manuel Guillelmus put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Simon Katia. After 86 played minutes C A Talleres CBA got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Mitxaut. If Cristo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Katia made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ernesto Bikendi sent off a good shot on target.
