Spectators: 7133 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 7) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fidel Hats started the match with the kick off. Remigio Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Constantino Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Efrain Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Tavio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Ricardo Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Vladimiro Urtats sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palavicini's Gervasio Toli didn't even have to move. Remigio Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Constantino Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Remigio Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Palavicini's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Gentza came free, but Gervasio Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Gilen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Toli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Fidel Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fundido a Negro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Hats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Palavicini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oliviero to maneuver through the defense.

After 53 played minutes Palavicini got a freekick which was hit by Matias Rubio. Vladimiro Urtats, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fidel Hats might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Toli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Hats ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantino Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gavino Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, one of Fundido a Negro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fundido a Negro. In the 75th minute Eleuterio Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palavicini's Remigio Fresco got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fidel Hats fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fundido a Negro's protests and gave Fidel Hats a yellow card for diving instead. Constantino Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fidel Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundido a Negro's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Hats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Toli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Rubio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Fidel Hats came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fundido a Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Hats couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, Fidel Hats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gervasio Toli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fundido a Negro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
