In the 42nd minute, Pedro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benicio Txomin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gaudencio Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Blues's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the game, Benicio Txomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Orti made a kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Blues's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Bordat was slow to take the kick. During this time Pedro FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Paulo Bordat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Les Blues's Robustiano Xabel did a great save. 58 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Vincente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Silvestre Mero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Epifanio Ereinotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Blues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedro FC the free kick. The supporters of Pedro FC booed when Les Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gaudencio Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Pedro FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Navarro. Benicio Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Silvestre Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Silvestre Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Txomin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Mero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
