In the 24thth minute of the game Cristo Sagrario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palavicini's Gervasio Toli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Remigio Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club A. Independiente's Simon Katia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Fresco in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Katia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Fresco came free, but Simon Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Suero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Gavino Tavio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Simon Katia, passed just outside the right post. Simon Katia was a little too slow when Remigio Fresco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Remigio Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Katia came out of the goal and Remigio Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Fresco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Katia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Fresco's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute Silvano Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gavino Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Matei during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavino Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Simon Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gavino Tavio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Palavicini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Tavio couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Fresco came free, but Simon Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Remigio Fresco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palavicini's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Fresco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Palavicini's Remigio Fresco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palavicini's goalkeeper Gervasio Toli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gervasio Palos charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Palos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute, Gervasio Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Lon in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Toli saved Palavicini from getting behind. Club A. Independiente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
