Justo Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Ceballos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Fresco came free, but Justo Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Palavicini getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Matias Rubio hit a great ball. Ezequiel Loren, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Egun to strike the kick off in the second half. Ceballos AFC's Justo Quilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ceballos AFC from getting a goal against them. Cristo Mon struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gervasio Toli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceballos AFC. Justo Quilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Fresco in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes Ceballos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Mero who took care of the corner kick. 82 minutes into the match, Ceballos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Rubio came free, but Justo Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ceballos AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palavicini's performance. The match ended with a win for Palavicini.
