The Berazategui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Siro Cordara charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Cordara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Berazategui getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Seber in the 26th minute of play forced Berazategui's goalkeeper Fulgencio Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Leo Seber took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fulgencio Jokin to make any attempt to save it. Fulgencio Jokin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Seber in the 41st minute of play. German Chico kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Venancio Artizar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulgencio Jokin. Berazategui's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time.
