Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5507, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) Atilano Eutropio made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarandí FC's goalkeeper Iwan Zabrzeski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Atilano Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Aquiles Aballe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Arias. Aquiles Aballe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Aquiles Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Aballe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iwan Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Svensson in the 27th minute of play. Johnny Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Zabrzeski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Sergio Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Darth Vader FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Cristos. Iwan Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Eutropio in the 40th minute of the match. Darth Vader FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Aquiles Aballe scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Arias, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Abaurre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Atilano Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darth Vader FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Svensson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Iwan Zabrzeski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darth Vader FC. After a rather tough play, Sarandí FC's Sergio Abaurre got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Bronislovas Mankus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Manuelo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Sarandí FC's Urbano Cristos in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darth Vader FC's goalie prevented a goal. Virgilio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Urbano Cristos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgilio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Abaurre in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Sergio Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes in the game Fabian Mazuste did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Urbano Cristos. 86 minutes into the match, Sarandí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Svensson came free, but Iwan Zabrzeski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darth Vader FC's Johnny Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darth Vader FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
