Spectators: 7399 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Dei started the match with the kick off. Iwan Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Emmanuel in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarandí FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Rainerio was slow to take the kick. During this time Pinto FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pinto FC's corner Antonio Rainerio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Zabrzeski quite easily take care of the ball. Iwan Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Emmanuel in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarandí FC's goalkeeper Iwan Zabrzeski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pinto FC's Jonathan Emmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Emmanuel in the 28th minute of play forced Sarandí FC's goalkeeper Iwan Zabrzeski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Isidro Sotil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Pereyra skillfully saved the ball. Tiburcio Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Pinto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Dei to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Zabrzeski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Emmanuel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Urbano Cristos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Pereyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Urbano Cristos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Pereyra having to make a save. Sergio Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Pereyra having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Pinto FC's Antonio Rainerio got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Pinto FC booed when Sarandí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iwan Zabrzeski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Dei in the 58th minute of play. Aquiles Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Sarandí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Rainerio shot from long distance in the 60th minute, but Iwan Zabrzeski was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 61st minute, Antonio Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Iwan Zabrzeski made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Sarandí FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ezkerra. Sergio Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cayetano Pereyra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarandí FC. After 76 played minutes Sarandí FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Aballe. Sarandí FC's Iwan Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Dei in the 83rd minute of play. Sergio Abaurre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Pereyra having to make a save. After some careless play in the Sarandí FC defense, Jonathan Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Zabrzeski. The Sarandí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Zabrzeski should have stopped the shot.
