A collision led to Darth Vader FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bronislovas Mankus hit a great ball. Virgilio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bronislovas Mankus's late challenge caught a Los Picapiedras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bronislovas Mankus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Darth Vader FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bronislovas Mankus hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Darth Vader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Rainerio came free, but Virgilio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnny Svensson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Ascencio saved Los Picapiedras from getting behind. When Atilano Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Darth Vader FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Eutropio couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Picapiedras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Simon Paskal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 38 minutes into the game, Leo Favila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Picapiedras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darth Vader FC the free kick. Leo Favila hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Atilano Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leon Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Johnny Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Darth Vader FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Svensson couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Silverio Abechuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Picapiedras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darth Vader FC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Silverio Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Rainerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darth Vader FC's Johnny Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Atilano Eutropio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fernando Rainerio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Atilano Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Darth Vader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Rainerio came free, but Virgilio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Johnny Svensson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leon Ascencio, 0-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Atilano Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darth Vader FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Atilano Eutropio sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fernando Rainerio succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Atilano Eutropio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Leon Ascencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Darth Vader FC's Johnny Svensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Ascencio. That made the score 1-2 after 94 minutes of play. Darth Vader FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
