CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Rosalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Esquipula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CA Defensores Nacionales's Fabricio Pacorro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Torroc's goalkeeper Ulises Esquipula, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Dep Torroc's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Rosalio came free, but Ulises Esquipula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, CA Defensores Nacionales's Fabricio Pacorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Fabricio Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Dep Torroc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Rius during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Edwardo made a kick off. Fabricio Pacorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Esquipula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Pacorro ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Patxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Ulises Esquipula when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Rosalio in the 74th minute of play forced Dep Torroc's goalkeeper Ulises Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Barto's late challenge caught a Dep Torroc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Barto helped the player get up and apologised. If Marco Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Herensuge in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Isaias Herensuge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Esquipula. Dep Torroc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Herensuge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Dep Torroc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA Defensores Nacionales were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
