Ivan Cordairo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gogo Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. Diego Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. Interacero FC's Ivan Cordairo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Interacero FC from getting a goal against them. Diego Abar scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Cordairo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcial Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. Marcial Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Cordairo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Suero went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Caraguatay FC's Marcial Suero got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marcial Suero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Cordairo was relentless in the 49th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Suero made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Interacero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Suero came free, but Ivan Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Marcial Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivan Cordairo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ivan Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Diego Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Diego Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Lázaro Mincho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Interacero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caraguatay FC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Interacero FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Mincho. Ivan Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Diego Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. If Emanuel Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Suero in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Abar in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Cordairo saved Interacero FC from getting behind. Interacero FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
