Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiberto Locaio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Bartolito FC's Aquilino Txeru got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benigno Ederono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Rosalio in the 11th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Locaio came free, but Jacinto Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Defensores Nacionales's Gaston Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Armando Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bartolito FC's Arsenio Feliz tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Bartolito FC's Claudio Fernado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Filiberto Locaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Urre came out and tried to block the shot, but Filiberto Locaio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes, Maximo Phelipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bartolito FC and the CA Defensores Nacionales players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Maximo Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match CA Defensores Nacionales got a corner. Bartolito FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabricio Pacorro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CA Defensores Nacionales's Fabricio Pacorro to fire away a dangerous shot which Benigno Ederono despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 37 played minutes Bartolito FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Phelipe. After 42 minutes of play, CA Defensores Nacionales's Gaston Rosalio made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Ederono was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Marco Naldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Defensores Nacionales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bartolito FC the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gaston Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ederono having to interfere. Bartolito FC's Benigno Ederono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bartolito FC from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Pacorro in the 71st minute of play forced Bartolito FC's goalkeeper Benigno Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CA Defensores Nacionales defense, Aquiles Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Urre. The CA Defensores Nacionales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Urre should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, CA Defensores Nacionales's Armando Kauldi got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Locaio came free, but Jacinto Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Pacorro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Ederono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Isaias Herensuge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Ederono. Bartolito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Herensuge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Isaias Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benigno Ederono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Pacorro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Ederono was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Isaias Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play Bartolito FC's Maximo Phelipe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Rolando Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CA Defensores Nacionales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Patxi couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, CA Defensores Nacionales failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
