Ramon Orlondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Cordairo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Ismael Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Ascencios short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ivan Cordairo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Interacero FC's Ivan Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Orlondo in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Interacero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Orlondo came free, but Ivan Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Garin to make the kick off. David Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Baladi having to interfere. With a little luck, Hooligans's Felix Baladi got control of the ball when David Cloyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 played minutes Interacero FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Jaunti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Ascencio in the 96th minute of play forced Interacero FC's goalkeeper Ivan Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
