Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Laffitte to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Abar couldn't finish the play. In the 81stth minute of the game Marcial Suero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tócota's Faustino Cuarto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Marcial Suero took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Faustino Cuarto to make any attempt to save it. Teobaldo Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Laffitte in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Caraguatay FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rodolfo Hanni hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caraguatay FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
