Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Garin got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Lázaro Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Pacorro in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Fabricio Pacorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivan Cordairo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's Fabricio Pacorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Cordairo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Fabricio Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Defensores Nacionales's Gaston Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Herensuge in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Gaston Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Rosalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gaston Rosalio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the CA Defensores Nacionales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Rosalio couldn't finish the play. Rolando Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. Bonifacio Rozarius kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jacinto Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Garin in the 40th minute of the match. Jacinto Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. Fabricio Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jacinto Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Cloyo in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Interacero FC's Raul Garin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Urre. Jacinto Urre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Interacero FC's Eustaquio Mancio got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of CA Defensores Nacionales booed when Interacero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 62 minutes, Lázaro Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Interacero FC and the CA Defensores Nacionales players grew even worse after the yellow card. 65 minutes into the match, Interacero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Pacorro came free, but Ivan Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Filiberto Papo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Defensores Nacionales and the Interacero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CA Defensores Nacionales getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Filiberto Papo hit a great ball. Rolando Patxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Cordairo having to make a save. Fabricio Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Interacero FC defense, Gaston Rosalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Cordairo. The Interacero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Cordairo should have stopped the shot. In the 87thth minute of the game Gaston Rosalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Interacero FC's Ivan Cordairo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fabricio Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cordairo having to interfere. Ivan Cordairo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Rosalio's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Gaston Rosalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Defensores Nacionales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
