Jaime Froylan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Rosalio in the 4th minute. Fabricio Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jaime Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Boquerón booed when CA Defensores Nacionales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Colon came free, but Jacinto Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Fabricio Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Pacorro in the 24th minute of play forced Boquerón's goalkeeper Jaime Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Fabricio Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Pacorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabricio Pacorro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jaime Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Defensores Nacionales. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Pacorro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Froylan saved Boquerón from getting behind. Boquerón's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabricio Pacorro 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Rayman came free, but Jacinto Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Froylan having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Pacorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaias Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Filiberto Papo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Defensores Nacionales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boquerón the free kick. The supporters of Boquerón booed when CA Defensores Nacionales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Marco Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Ambrosio Colon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boquerón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Clodoveo Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fabricio Pacorro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Clodoveo Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Boquerón getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anselmo Urbez hit a great ball. Fabricio Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, CA Defensores Nacionales's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ambrosio Colon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd match minute, CA Defensores Nacionales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Barto to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Cristian Artaldo hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Jaime Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Rosalio in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fabricio Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Froylan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Rayman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fabricio Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Boquerón's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Naldo came free, but Jaime Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Papo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jaime Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Defensores Nacionales. In the 91stth minute of the game Gaston Rosalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquerón's Jaime Froylan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gaston Rosalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Froylan was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When Isaias Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the CA Defensores Nacionales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Herensuge couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CA Defensores Nacionales fully deserved thier win.
