Gaston Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Clemente Eder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Pacorro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Eder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Eder having to interfere. Isaias Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florida's Clemente Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Rosalio in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Florida's Raul Mede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 32nd minute Gaston Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabricio Pacorro came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CA Defensores Nacionales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Pacorro couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of CA Defensores Nacionales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Florida:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jacinto Urre, was totally fooled by Florida's Conrado Maore, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Clemente Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Herensuge in the 44th minute of the match. CA Defensores Nacionales's Gaston Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Herensuge in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Eder saved Florida from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Florida's Benedicto Marz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Florida's zone, Fabricio Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Eder came out of the goal and Fabricio Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CA Defensores Nacionales's Fabricio Pacorro managed to work through Florida's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabricio Pacorro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jacinto Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Mede in the 61st minute of the match. If Gaston Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Clemente Eder managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when CA Defensores Nacionales's Isaias Herensuge fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Bide scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Kauldi lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 74th minute, Armando Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rolando Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CA Defensores Nacionales booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Defensores Nacionales's Jacinto Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Mede in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to CA Defensores Nacionales getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rolando Patxi hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Florida's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rolando Patxi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. CA Defensores Nacionales's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Florida had won, even though CA Defensores Nacionales had held more of the ball.
