A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 12 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Bakar. In the 13th minute, Vinicio Vedillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vinicio Vedillo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Mel. Rolando Mel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Rosario Central's Pastor Socorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco got control of the ball when Pastor Socorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Rodolfo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Rodolfo Etxepare got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ernesto Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pastor Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Socorro couldn't finish the play. If Pastor Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Etxepare was the one to do the kick off. Ismael Lohitzun charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Lohitzun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Bakar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Vinicio Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arroyito FC's Ismael Lohitzun got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Inocencio Chico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Mel, 2-3. After having played for 79 minutes, Inocencio Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Chico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Lizar hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Israel Eli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Rosario Central's Rodolfo Etxepare in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rolando Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Chico in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Inocencio Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Mel came out of the goal and Inocencio Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arroyito FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
