Spectators: 7339 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulino Txerran got the match started through his kick off. Palmitas's Rodolfo Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Quentin in the 3rd minute of play. Albano Sal's late challenge caught a Palmitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Sal helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Albano Sal. In the 7th minute, Palmitas's Paulino Txerran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Manuel Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Txerran in the 13th minute of the match. When Emilio Eneas fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Emilio Eneas a yellow card for diving instead. Palmitas's Paulino Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Serafin Gumaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Modesto Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th play minute Serafin Gumaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Veronica. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Txerran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Veronica. That made the score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. Serafin Gumaro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 38th playminute. Diablos Rojos's Manuel Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Txerran in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Paulino Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Francisco Lizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Albano Sal got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Albano Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Gumaro in the 62nd minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Manuel Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Demesio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulises Ortle. Palmitas's Paulino Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Demesio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Maximo Frutos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Inocencio Poncio got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Veronica was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulino Txerran struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Manuel Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. 7-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Paulino Txerran elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Serafin Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Paulino Txerran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablos Rojos's Manuel Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Palmitas fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
