Santo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justino Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Sidro having to interfere. Lucio Jaunzuria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Galeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Virgilio Galeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Laurin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Arturo Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Virgilio Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Madeo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Mencué's corner Bernabe Frasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Virgilio Galeno quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Dubardo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Laurin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Galeno saved Los churros from getting behind. Arturo Teofilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Virgilio Galeno made a huge save. Los churros's Virgilio Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Los churros from getting a goal against them. Arturo Teofilio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 65th playminute. In the 70th minute, Justino Eskuin made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Sidro. Mencué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Justino Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los churros's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Eskuin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Los churros getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Silverio Lehior hit a great ball. Bernabe Frasco shot from long distance in the 87th minute, but Virgilio Galeno was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Justino Eskuin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 98 in the game by Arturo Teofilio from a close distance when the talented Virgilio Galeno managed to make a qualified save. Los churros's players were relieved. Mencué's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
