Zikri Tufan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Etxepare in the 31st minute of the match. Paulo Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Elodio in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Mel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Endura in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Paulo Endura notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rosario Central's Rolando Mel. Rolando Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Dellafuente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Mel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Elodio in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Socorro in the 75th minute of play forced Dellafuente FC's goalkeeper Zikri Tufan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Pastor Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Tufan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Andres Elodio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
