Ernesto Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Central Arroyo Baru's Aureliano Eneto got control of the ball when Vinicio Vedillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ceferino Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Central Arroyo Baru's Orlando Llope got a free kick in the 35th minute. Vinicio Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aureliano Eneto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Central Arroyo Baru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Rivas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Inocencio Chico took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aureliano Eneto to make any attempt to save it. After 44 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Micael. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ceferino Cuarto made the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Cuarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Loco having to make a save. After 54 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Micael. If Vinicio Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco got control of the ball when Ceferino Cuarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ceferino Cuarto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Central Arroyo Baru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Cuarto couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Eduardo Micael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arroyito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Central Arroyo Baru the free kick. The supporters of Central Arroyo Baru booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aureliano Eneto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Jacob went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ruperto Jacob almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco did a great save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arroyito FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Central Arroyo Baru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
