Spectators: 6911 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ermegildo Dubardo kicked off to start the match. Andres Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Galeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Galeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Endura went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los churros's goalkeeper Virgilio Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zikri Tufan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los churros's Justino Eskuin. But to his dismay, Justino Eskuin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Andres Elodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Galeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Los churros's Cristo Madeo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zikri Tufan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Gattoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Virgilio Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Andres Elodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los churros's Virgilio Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Gattoni in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los churros's zone, Andres Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Galeno came out of the goal and Andres Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Endura struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Virgilio Galeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dellafuente FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Elodio was the one to do the kick off. Andres Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Virgilio Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Madeo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los churros's Cristo Madeo got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes, Jonathan Orlandus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dellafuente FC and the Los churros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Dellafuente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. Los churros's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 68th minute of the game, when Romeo Cebo after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Dellafuente FC's goal. Romeo Cebo was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Andres Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zikri Tufan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Dubardo in the 73rd minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Dellafuente FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Kelemen. The long shot by Dalmacio Norino in the 80th minute really tested Zikri Tufan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Los churros booed when Dellafuente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Lehior didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Andres Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Galeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute Paulo Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Romeo Cebo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los churros and the Dellafuente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Paulo Endura came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Dellafuente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Endura couldn't finish the play. The Los churros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los churros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
