If Vinicio Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Chuan in the 8th minute of play. Ciro Chuan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Loco came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Chuan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Chuan in the 18th minute of play. Serafin Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Chuan in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Serafin Admon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Loco. Arroyito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafin Admon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ernesto Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Chico in the 33rd minute of play forced Galvan AFC's goalkeeper Mario Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galvan AFC's zone, Vinicio Vedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Peli came out of the goal and Vinicio Vedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Galvan AFC's Tiburcio Berart got a free kick in the 39th minute. Vinicio Vedillo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mario Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyito FC. Mario Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Chuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Mario Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Vedillo in the 57th minute. Vinicio Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Peli having to interfere. Inocencio Chico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Peli came out and tried to block the shot, but Inocencio Chico slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 60th minute. A collision led to Galvan AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Basilio Frascuelo hit a great ball. Mario Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Chico in the 70th minute of the match. With his leg Mario Peli managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Arroyito FC's Vinicio Vedillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vinicio Vedillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Peli could save by the left post. In the 81st minute of the match, Vinicio Vedillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mario Peli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mario Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Lohitzun in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galvan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arroyito FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
