The tension between the Diablos Rojos and the Tiro federal players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Teo Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tiro federal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Fonso couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Eudoxio in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Veronica saved Diablos Rojos from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's Clodoveo Quentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aberama Gold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
