Rosario Central:s Rolando Mel showed great skill when he stopped Andres Elodio:s penalty. 23 minutes into the match, Andres Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Mel. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dellafuente FC's Nery Pumpido got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Elodio in the 36th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Rolando Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Central's Rolando Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Paulo Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes, Rosario Central's Vinicio Txilar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zikri Tufan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosario Central reached it. In the 60th minute Paulo Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Mel having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Sixto Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Dellafuente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Endura to maneuver through the defense. Zikri Tufan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Paulo Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Mel came out of the goal and Paulo Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Paulo Endura notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Rosario Central's Rolando Mel. Rolando Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pastor Socorro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute.
