In the 5th minute of the match Gabriel Procopio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Eneto skillfully saved the ball. If Aaron Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Central Arroyo Baru's zone, Paulino Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Eneto came out of the goal and Paulino Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Gagriel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Central Arroyo Baru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Ruperto Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central Arroyo Baru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Central Arroyo Baru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmitas:s goal. In the 24th minute of the match Gabriel Procopio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Eneto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aureliano Eneto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Gumaro in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Palmitas's Rodolfo Demesio got control of the ball when Ceferino Cuarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute Paulino Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Eneto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Inko was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Gumaro had several of the Central Arroyo Baru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Aureliano Eneto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Paulino Txerran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aureliano Eneto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafin Gumaro went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Paulino Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aureliano Eneto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Central Arroyo Baru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Jacob to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Eneto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Palmitas's Paulino Txerran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Central Arroyo Baru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Paulino Txerran scored to the left of an out of position Aureliano Eneto, making the score, 0-5. After 81 played minutes Paulino Txerran rounded Central Arroyo Baru's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. A collision led to Central Arroyo Baru getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angel Rivas hit a great ball. Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Central Arroyo Baru. Aureliano Eneto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulino Txerran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Serafin Gumaro sped through Central Arroyo Baru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Eneto. Santos Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Palmitas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
