River Plate CABALLITO's Isaias Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Papo in the 3rd minute of play. Apolo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Papo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Florian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to River Plate CABALLITO getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Apolo Ruy hit a great ball. Nestor Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Isaias Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Atauri might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Tabb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Atauri ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, River Plate CABALLITO's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Maidana came free, but Isaias Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Nestor Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Florian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Maidana's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Isaias Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Papo in the 43rd minute of play. Isaias Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Isaias Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Maidana in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Florian saved River Plate CABALLITO from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Maidana was the one to do the kick off. Isaias Florian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Papo in the 56th minute. After 68 minutes, Vicente Eneto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate CABALLITO and the Panacán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Florian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Maidana's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, River Plate CABALLITO's Domingo Aureo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Tabb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Santo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tabb having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Panacán's Leopoldo Fagondo got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Benito Inocente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Tabb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabian Atauri charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Atauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Panacán booed when River Plate CABALLITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Aureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jeremias Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Fagondo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Santo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Tabb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Panacán got a freekick which was hit by Santo Otsando. 95 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Fagondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panacán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate CABALLITO the free kick. Leopoldo Fagondo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Panacán played a much better game than River Plate CABALLITO and deserved their victory. The River Plate CABALLITO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
