The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tancacha FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Locaio. In the 44th play minute Anacleto Merexildo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luis Mouricio. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Edgardo Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Anacleto Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tancacha FC's Evaristo Tartalo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mauro Pero but with some difficulty. Edgardo Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tancacha FC's Edgardo Quin got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Ruisko during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tancacha FC's Uriel Ruisko got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Talleres's Mauro Pero got control of the ball when Edgardo Quin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Talleres players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
