After a rather tough play, Ciudadela F.C.'s Pedro Mazuste got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ciudadela F.C.! After 28 played minutes Samsung got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Victoro. In the 29th minute, Gervasio Lixandro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Samsung's Severino Urtungo didn't even have to move. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudadela F.C.'s goalkeeper Genaro Erdiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Samsung's Severino Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Samsung from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Samsung's Severino Urtungo got control of the ball when Adan Osorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adan Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Samsung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Criston to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Cefero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ciudadela F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 78th minute, Silvestre Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Genaro Erdiano made a huge save. Antonio Goren's late challenge caught a Samsung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Goren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Samsung booed when Ciudadela F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Samsung's corner Silvestre Bonadona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genaro Erdiano quite easily take care of the ball. Adan Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Severino Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Adan Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudadela F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Adan Osorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samsung's Severino Urtungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
